Only application of knowledge is power. <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

My post yesterday’s resulted in a flurry of emails noting that “What is Success” may be “incorrectly” attributed to one of my favorite author’s – Ralph Waldo Emerson.<\/p>\n

Often I receive the same kind of emails regarding this one:<\/p>\n

\u201cOur deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves: \u2018Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?\u2019 Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won\u2019t feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It\u2019s not just in some of us; it\u2019s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others<\/em>.\u201d – Nelson Mandela<\/p>\n

Here’s what I do know for sure; Nelson Mandela said it, Marianne Williamson wrote it and we all “get to” live it. In our daily lives what matters most is what we DO with the knowledge we have. Thinking about it, talking about it, or arguing the history of it are NOT the same as actually applying it.<\/p>\n

Hence; Application of Knowledge is power.<\/p>\n
