(which patients and clients care little about) and there are three challenges with traditional schools in America.<\/p>\n<p>1.    They focus on what you do wrong, and being &#8220;right&#8221;, and not making mistakes.  <em>For the most part<\/em> creative thinking is discouraged and competition between peers is encouraged over cooperation.  Think &#8220;bell curve&#8221;, competing for the best grades, Valedictorian, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Entrepreneurs must make mistakes and the faster they do so, the faster they become successful.  And entrepreneurs seek collaboration and thrive via cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>2.    Schools are designed to create employees.  This is why people say &#8220;Go to school to get a good job&#8221;.  The fact is even most graduates of MBA programs go on to become employees&#8230;albeit better paid ones.  <\/p>\n<p>3.    The farther you go up the academic chain the more you know about less.  The more specialized you become, the less leverage you have because you become a commodity that can be replaced when things change.  Example the very best cassette player designers rapidly became unemployed once the CD was invented.  Unless they themselves expanded their skill sets.<\/p>\n<p>Entrepreneurs must wear a lot of different &#8220;hats&#8221;, they know a little about many aspects of their business&#8230;they are &#8220;generalists&#8221;.  And they know enough to hire people that are experts &#8211; specialists &#8211; to do the things they themsleves are weak in so they can go on to create, make more mistakes, learn more by doing and ultimately fail until they&#8217;re FREE.<\/p>\n<p>On the other side of failure is FREEDOM!<\/p>\n<p>Live With Intention,<br \/>\nDr bill<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good Morning Team &#8211; First, I do believe in education, our oldest will start college next year, and I have many letters after my name.
