There are some people who could win a gold medal in the Olympics if the \u201cBlame Game\u201d was an event.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s time to wake up and smell the coffee, folks. There\u2019s no nice, easy way to say this. And chances are if you don\u2019t already know the truth, you\u2019re not going to like it. So, here it is \u2013 the absolute truth:<\/p>\n
You get what you give. You reap what you sow. And the only person to blame for your past, present and future success or failure, joy or unhappiness, is you.<\/p>\n
We all know about the \u201cBlame Game.\u201d Most of us have played it at one time or another. You see\/hear them every day. Their lack of success is never their fault.<\/p>\n
If they didn\u2019t get the great job, it\u2019s the interviewer\u2019s fault. The bank re-possessed their house or car? Bank’s fault. Being overweight, advertiser’s fault. Relationship didn\u2019t work out, skinny model’s fault. Can’t afford something, economy’s fault.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m not saying we can control everything that happens to us. There are terrible crimes committed every day. These horrible events are completely beyond our control. I’m talking about the everyday choices and actions we make and take.<\/p>\n
When it\u2019s all said and done, we are the reason for our successes and failures. It\u2019s time for everyone to take responsibility for their lives, no matter the situation.<\/p>\n
What to do? Watch your language. Words have power. Use your power wisely. Use your power to bring success and light into your life. Use it to Serve Others.<\/p>\n
