I’ve been through this before…with Mr Clinton…only it was called “Managed Care” back in the early 90’s and it ultimately led to my retiring from medicine.\u00a0 I still feel being a Physician is the Greatest profession….only a lousy business.\u00a0\u00a0 Back then doctors rushed to start “Rehab” clinics which provided additional revenue at first<\/em>…later rules and regulations made it nearly impossible for doctors to own Rehab facilities.\u00a0\u00a0 Today’s doctors are rushing to open “Medical Spas” and I believe new rules and regulations will make that avenue nearly impossible in the near future.<\/p>\n The saddest part of both attempts at healthcare “reform” is that older doctors leave the field…taking their wisdom and experience with them.\u00a0 Leaving the younger doctors to work from textbooks, and flowcharts provided by reimbursement schedules.<\/p>\n I recommend young people that choose to become a doctor have another stream of income to rely upon both while going to school and after.\u00a0 And I recommend that today’s doctors develop another stream of income immediately.<\/p>\n Live with Intention,<\/p>\n Dr Bill Toth,<\/p>\n Success Coach<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The public has been grossly mislead….Socialized medicine does NOT work, has NOT worked for Canada nor Great Britain.\u00a0 Canadian citizens flood our northern hospitals where they can pay for the healthcare they need because it is illegal for them to … Continue reading
