Suppose you\u2019re applying for a new job.\u00a0 You jump through all the hoops and finally get an interview.\u00a0 Then you discover you\u2019re seriously being considered.\u00a0 Then you find out you got the job and that you\u2019ll be making a lot of money.<\/p>\n
How would you react?\u00a0 Would you react any differently if you had been unemployed for 3, 6, 9 months or longer?<\/p>\n
After the initial euphoria you would probably start having some questions, like when does the job start?, how much money is a \u201clot of money\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 You ask your new boss and he\/she says;<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019re definitely going to earn a \u201clot of money\u201d and I don\u2019t have an exact start date for you \u2013 soon<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n And if your new boss refused to answer those questions you would probably become suspicious and maybe even annoyed wouldn\u2019t you?\u00a0 And, if after some time, your new boss still refused to answer you would probably begin to look elsewhere wouldn\u2019t you?<\/p>\n Of course – and you would be totally justified in doing so.<\/p>\n Because the questions you asked were aimed at getting hard facts.\u00a0 Right?\u00a0 Any reasonable person would want to know what was meant by a \u201clot of money\u201d and any reasonable person would want to know their start date.\u00a0 And you would probably want it all in writing wouldn\u2019t you.\u00a0 After all, in today\u2019s world it\u2019s called an \u201cEmployment Contract\u201d! \u00a0You promise to put in the time and work just hard enough so you don’t get fired and your boss promises to pay you just enough for your time so that you don’t quit.<\/p>\n Now consider this;<\/p>\n LIFE is your new employer.\u00a0 Life will give us exactly what we ask of it.\u00a0 Any request we make of it must be absolutely precise.\u00a0 Asking for \u201cmore money\u201d is too vague and will usually net you a few pennies found on the sidewalk.\u00a0 There ya go Life says; you asked for \u201cmore money\u201d and I gave it to you.<\/p>\n As far as monetary wealth is concerned you and I must establish both the amount and the deadline to make it\u2026and it must be in writing.\u00a0 LIFE demands that little\u2026.and offers so much.<\/p>\n Live With Intention<\/a>,<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n Dr Bill<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Suppose you\u2019re applying for a new job.\u00a0 You jump through all the hoops and finally get an interview.\u00a0 Then you discover you\u2019re seriously being considered.\u00a0 Then you find out you got the job and that you\u2019ll be making a lot … Continue reading
