What a game! And now it’s Monday Morning. Time for the Monday Morning Quarterbacks to muse and pontificate on what coulda-shoulda-woulda happened if only…

The actual quarterbacks, coaches, players, refs, and people who were in the stands and people who viewed the game on TV will argue what happened in the game less than 24 hours ago. They all watched the same game…from their perspective and thru their emotional and mental filters.

Additionally, any number of “experts” will be on sports shows today – all too happy to tell you what occurred on the playing field based upon their filters and resulting perceptions.

The game is over. So is your past. The results cannot be changed and the very best thing about the past is that it’s over. And what’s really superb is that when it comes to your past you can’t prove that your past happened the way YOU remember it. Because if we had a time machine and traveled back to the pivotal events of this past year, or any point in your life; and we interviewed others who were present – there would be an extremely high probability that they would remember those same events very differently. Just like those arguing about yesterday’s game.

Additionally, we all have had the experience where a seemingly terrible event turned out to be the very best thing for us. One lesson here and there is to look for the seed of good in every “awful” experience as it’s happening – because the second lesson here and there is that every experience has served us, or continues to serve us on some level, for some purpose.

In conclusion, it is a fact that the glass is always completely full of two liquids and there are always three sides to every story; His, Hers and the Truth – which usually lies somewhere in between. Human beings filter ALL of the data input through our own experiences and ultimately choose our own perceptions. So why not choose to interpret all the data input in a way that supports and empowers you TO BE magnificent, to improve your life, your family’s life and your community?

Because you can. And what if you were to? What if you did? Who could you help?

How great would that be?

Live With Intention,

Dr Bill

Wow!
