Less well known for his more brilliant accomplishment >\u00a0 He developed the system of poles, relay stations and electrical lines the powered the light bulb.\u00a0 In other words he developed a network<\/em>.<\/p>\n Perhaps it’s because he didn’t come up with the idea…he merely looked up from his desk one day and the proverbial light bulb went off in his head.\u00a0 His desk, his job as a telegraph operator.\u00a0 Another company had already become successful by setting up a network<\/em> of poles, relay stations and wires to send a telegraph signal.\u00a0 He merely copied them and created his own company called General Electric.<\/p>\n Sam Walton set up a distribution network<\/em> for products he didn’t even create or manufacture.\u00a0 Bill Gates didn’t build computers…he created the software that create a network<\/em> between computers.\u00a0 Jeff Bezos wasn’t a book publisher he created an online network<\/em> to deliver books…Amazon.\u00a0\u00a0 Google created a network<\/em> so we can find things we’re looking for.\u00a0 Yahoo became #2 simply by copying them.\u00a0 Facebook became #1 after they copied MySpace and created a new social Network<\/em>.<\/p>\n Amazon, Google, Yahoo, MySpace, Facebook essentially have no products of their own…what they have and where their value lies is in their network<\/em>.\u00a0 And as you can tell they are much larger companies than the products they sell.\u00a0\u00a0 That’s because the true power, the true wealth is in the network<\/em>.<\/p>\n And so is yours.\u00a0 Simply copy the success of your coaches and mentors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Thomas Edison.\u00a0\u00a0 Best known for his stubborn tenacity in relation to inventing the light bulb.
