I’ve read and researched every reference to it in several different versions of the bible.\u00a0 It’s a confusing, conflicting mess which is best left to scholars better than I.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Here’s what I know to be true from experience.<\/p>\n

  1. Tithing is a practical application of your Faith.\u00a0<\/li>\n
  2. One must give to one’s Spiritual source without the expectation of receiving, knowing that \u00a0\u00a0you will. (Spiritual Source for many is their church\u2026here it means any place from which you derive \u00a0\u00a0Spiritual nourishment.)<\/li>\n
  3. Tithing is the quickest way to break the poverty cycle.<\/li>\n
  4. One must give a percentage of one\u2019s total income.\u00a0 Giving a couple of bucks into the plate is \u00a0\u00a0an \u201coffering\u201d it is NOT tithing!\u00a0 Start with net income, start with 1% if you have to\u2026just start.<\/li>\n
  5. Tithing is a practical application of your Faith and it works.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
