\n\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0 What is it NOT?\u00a0 A seperate business model.<\/p>\n

First & Foremost – remember there is a human being on the other end with
\nthoughts, feelings and emotions – just like you.<\/p>\n

Their Facebook page is a “space” just like each person has “their space” in their
\nhome.\u00a0 Remember nobody likes when their “personal space” is invaded.<\/p>\n

Treat your Facebook interactions like any live event you might attend.
\n* First impressions count – there are no second chances
\n* No ‘Shouting” logos, selling, references to business, products
\n* No connnecting just for the sake of connecting.
\n* No blank profile photo, or pics of pets, kids<\/p>\n

* DO be sincere
\n* DO use a recent pic of yourSelf in your profile photo.
\n* When asking to connect always<\/em> write a short personal note
\n* Start with people you know from high school, college, church, fraternity,
\n\u00a0\u00a0 sorority etc.<\/p>\n

NOTE:\u00a0 It takes 7-9 interactions over a period of days, weeks or months
\nbefore the topic of “what do you do” naturally<\/em> comes up.\u00a0 If you force it
\nor are “premature” with asking – then you’re “selling” and nobody wants to
\nbe “sold” – especially not in their “personal space”.\u00a0 Using social media to
