I don&#8217;t have the time<br \/>\n2.    I don&#8217;t have any money<br \/>\n3.    Now I want to talk to my wife about it (or hubby, significant other, relative)<\/p>\n<p>The #1 Reason people start their own business&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<strong>Money<\/strong><\/ul>\n<p> &#8211; They&#8217;re attracted to the FREEDOM that comes from having your own business &#8211; one that includes systems that do NOT require your daily input. (think Robert Kiyosaki&#8217;s definition) OR they are smart enuff to realize in today&#8217;s world unless you have multiple streams of income you and your family are at risk of losing it all. (Think Richard Bach&#8217;s books)<\/p>\n<p>The #2 Reason people start their own business&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<strong>Time<\/strong><\/ul>\n<p> &#8211; They want more time with family, friends and to do the things they want to do. I had an awesome career as a Sports Doc &#8211; and no time to have a life. People who have to punch a clock have even less time to be with family, friends &#8211; especially in today&#8217;s economy where so many have to work more than one job.  Having a business with systems like a Franchise or a Network Marketing business allows you to leverage your time and build an income stream that produces revenue 24\/7, 365.<\/p>\n<p>The #3 Reason people start their own business&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Their spouse, significant other started with us and dragged them along, willingly or unwillingly.  And at some point joint decisions must be made regarding expenditures for re-investing into the business or decisions need to be made regarding the income and what to do with it. And sometimes one spouse starts the business, the other sees the potential and takes over.
