Coaching clients sometimes say; “no one told me building a business was going to be this hard”<\/p>\n
Here is an analogy that I tell people. My daughter Casey was about 4 years old when she started ice skating.\u00a0\u00a0 All she knew is that she wanted to be an Olympic skater like the ones on TV.\u00a0 As a parent should I really say; …..”now Casey you know you will fall about 3,600 times. You will break some bones. The ice is incredibly hard, and while other children are in their warm beds you will be freezing on ice at 5:30 every morning.\u00a0\u00a0 And by the way your odds of being an Olympian are 1 in a million.\u00a0 Now go get’em!”<\/p>\n <\/span>Should I destroy her dreams and just tell her?\u00a0 NOT!!\u00a0 My job as a parent is to encourage and guide her….she’ll experience all the other stuff along the way….and if she’s really committed to her goal<\/em>…she’ll work thru it if she decides<\/em> the sacrifice is worth it.<\/p>\n Same for our business, or any worthwhile goal.<\/p>\n Here’s another example; <\/span><\/p>\n When you are\u00a0studying for your degree, do the\u00a0colleges drill you on how hard it is to get a job, or how hard office politics can be, or how many will get laid off, how many will not be able to retire etc etc?\u00a0 No!\u00a0 They empower you to\u00a0get an education and the rest is up to the student.<\/p>\n On the way to any worthwhile goal, each person’s journey is unique.\u00a0 Some people find building a business to be incredibly easy.\u00a0 Others have a different journey….a different perception.\u00a0 Hard, soft, fast, slow, easy = all based upon perception.<\/p>\n When you hire a business coach you have real life earning, while you’re learning, from people who have already done what you want to do.<\/p>\n So whether it’s ice skating, college degree or building this business…people always make the time and find the resources for the things they’re committed to.\u00a0\u00a0 What are you committed to?\u00a0 And how can we assist you today?<\/span><\/p>\n Live With Intention<\/em> Coaching clients sometimes say; “no one told me building a business was going to be this hard” Here is an analogy that I tell people.
