Clip from Kiyosaki’s latest book you might like – or not

Many of my reader’s took advantage of last weeks offer to get his latest book for free.receive for free.   Context is everything…it’s “ok” to be this blunt and postured only AFTER you’ve earned your prospects’ respect and your audience  can FEEL that you care.  At this point in his life Robert’s well past the “sugarcoat it” stage.

Straight from Page 7 – Robert Kiyosaki writes:

Don’t be distracted by the headlines. There is always some idiotic buzz going on that tries to pull your attention away from the serious business of building your life. It’s just noise. Whether it’s terrorism, recession, or the latest election-cycle scandals, it’s got nothing to do with what you need to be doing today to build your future.

Are you angry at the corruption in the corporate world? At Wall Street and the big banks that let this happen? At the government for not doing enough, or for doing too much, or for doing too much of the wrong things and not enough of the right things? Are you angry at yourself for not taking control sooner?

Life is tough. The question is, what are you going to do about it? Moaning and groaning won’t secure your future. Neither will blaming Wall Street, the big bankers, corporate America, or the government.

The economy is not the issue. The issue is you.

If you want a solid future, you need to create it. You can take charge of your future only when you take control of your income source. You must have your own business.

Bill’s note: Now there ya have it.  Remember when you decide to take control by having your own business – seek a coach or mentor that has already achieved what you’re desiring to BE, DO and HAVE.    This is the fastest and surest path to success.

Do you have a little but?

or is it a big “but”?  From your favorite word lover,Small word with HUGE significance:

I really like you, but…I agree with you, but…You look great in that dress, but…I’ll get started, but first I have to talk to my husband…I have the money, but…I’ll call anyone, but…I’ll do anything it takes to be successful, but....

Do you get the feeling from these three examples that whatever coming next might not be so good?  Doesn’t it feel like they’re not telling you the whole story, like there’s something they aren’t expressing, something they’re not saying?

Trust your feelings because that is exactly what’s happening.

Using ‘but’ in the sentence negates everything that comes before it.  What ‘I agree with you, but…’ is really saying is, ‘I don’t agree with you.’

What people say is generally what they mean…vs what we interpret or perceive.  ‘But’ is a perfect example of this.  And here’s the rub…this occurs with your inner voice too!

Listening to what other people say is important, listening to yourSelf is critical. Using the word ‘But’ actually weakens your ability to persuade yourSelf and others.  It’s a tiny yet dangerous word.  Everytime to you hear it..take note.. and every time you go to use it….replace it with the word “and”, then notice the empowerment that follows.

Wear a Smile and Wear it Out!!

Johnny Appleseed

It’s easy to count the seeds in an apple.  It’s much more challenging to count the apples in a seed.

That’s a number that comes from both the creator and the planter of the seed.  The farmer must plant, water, weed and nurture the ground for an undetermined amount of time, not seeing any results, only having faith that the seed is growing.

One storm, one flood, one fire or locusts could wipe out the seedling.

One person’s negative comment regarding how many farmer’s have gone out of business since Columbus came to America could cause the planter to quit early.

The farmer could break a sweat and say; “this is too hard and there’s no proof that this will work”.

Or the planter could procrastinate, watch the farm next door, wait for harvest time, pick crops and receive pay as an employee based upon what the other farmer is willing to pay….and then wish he had planted his own crop.

So how many apples in a seed?  How many calls, connections or “sales” in you?

Competency and confidence come from taking action and getting results.  Success and Peace come from seeing it in your mind first, and believing that you “will”, even
if you don’t know the “how”.  You must see it,
feel it, be there, like the result has already happened, and have the certainty “before” you take the action just like
the planter/farmer.

See it, Be it, Do it, Have it.

What does your kid do for fun?

Teen begins ascent of Mt Everest CNN Wire Staff  April 27, 2010

Mount Everest, Nepal (CNN)
— Even from more than 21,000 feet up the world’s tallest mountain, 13-year-old Jordan Romero couldn’t resist the opportunity to greet his mother in a live television broadcast Monday.

For Jordan, it’s all part of the journey.

“It could take … a couple of weeks or a couple of years,” he said, The trip is both hard and great and I will get it done.

Before they started, Jordan said he wanted to climb Everest for himself and to inspire more young people to get outdoors.

“Obese children are the future of America, the way things are going,” he said on April 9 in Kathmandu. “I am hoping to change that by doing what I do: climbing and motivational speaking. I want to motivate children and inspire them to get outdoors.”

With a smile, he added: “I am doing this a little for myself, too, to do something big.”

He has climbed five of the seven highest peaks on seven continents, known as the Seven Summits….starting when he was 9 YO.

The idea to climb the Seven Summits came to Jordan when he saw a mural of the mountains in the hallway of his school when he was 9. Before sharing his dream with his father, he did all the necessary research and only two weeks later told him of his ambition.

Despite his achievements, Jordan wants to be seen as a regular kid.

“I try to seem like an average kid who happens to be climbing,” he said this month. “But I’m not really fitting in.”
Bills Note:  Here’s the formula – 1. inspired by a picture (what’s your vision for your business)  2. Desire to BE & DO something BIG for others.  3.  create and write a plan.  4.  tell others.  5. Find a coach.  6.  Take action and be humble.
