Doled out vs Attracted and hard for some to swallow

Good Morning Team –

The apostle Matthew stated (13:10-12); “Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.”

On one level Matthew is saying the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. And of course in today’s world we hear a lot about this on CNN (Constantly Negative News).

Consider this next time you hear it; It is possible, maybe even likely, that the people who believe this is unfair may view abundance as something that is doled out and limited.

If one were to view abundance as something that one attracts, then Matthew’s statement would be totally fair. The prosperous person would be thinking prosperous thoughts and attracting more. And the perosn thinking of lack and limitation will – by law – attract the same.

The Law of Gravity works whether you believe in it or not. So does the Law of Attraction. And anyone that’s ever been pulled over by a traffic officer has probably heard the phrase; “Ignorance of the Law is no excuse.”

Finally, stretch your mind a little further when you consider that at one time there was no money and now we speak of money in terms like, Trillions of Dollars. Where did it all come from? And ask yourSelf – How do I attract my share?

Which is #1 ?

Yesterday I was asked; Which is more important to long term success as a small business owner – Belief or Persistence?
Answer = Belief. Belief comes first. Belief in the opportunity, Belief in products, Belief in System, Belief in you can learn new things, Belief in you Deserve, and of course Belief in your Self.

Without Belief there is nothing to persist for.

The Flip Flop CEO Part 2/2

Good Morning Team – Another take from this cute little book;

The Flip Flop CEO by Janine Finney.

Written this year – by professional Network Marketer Mother Daughter Team – for new or wanna be Network Marketers. Skeptics beware this book is simple and straight forward. Hard to refute facts in a no nonsense delivery. And cute too.

The second quote that jumped out; “If you’re willing to get the true reward of happiness through successfully building your business – the price of admission is very high – your Ego…for you to get in, it must stay out.”

To which I’ll add;

We often say “The Journey is the Reward” – meaning the journey from being trapped by ego, the “they says”, living in one or more of the 7 basic fears, having to be “right”, or whatever reason you use for holding back – then getting over it, stepping over your line, crossing over into a place where you know who you are and what you’re about. Ultimately who you become in the process of building your business is the very best reward.

Those that do so are the Leaders, Do’ers and Winners that continue to inspire others.

The Flip Flop CEO

I Love books. Read this one on the plane this weekend.

The Flip Flop CEO by Janine Finney.

Written this year – by professional Network Marketer Mother Daughter Team – for new or wanna be Network Marketers. Skeptics beware – this book is simple and straight forward. Hard to refute facts, in a no nonsense delivery. And cute too.

One quote that stood out and applies to business owners; “The Yes’s Built my business – the No’s built my character

To which I’ll add;

And the “Loners”, “Try-er’s” and “Quitters” gave me my multiple “degrees” in psychology.

while the Leaders, Do’ers, and Winners continue to inspire me.

Big Mistake and Coincidentally Speaking

Good Morning Team – I love books, I read two as I flew around the country this weekend. This one applies to business and more. When God Winks at YOU by Squire Bushnell.

At those times when you feel most alone, lost, meaningless – seemingly part of every entrepreneurs journey – a coincidence, sometimes a silly little thing, changes the course of your day, or even your life. Is it chance, luck, string theory? or is your Creator communicating directly with you.

The Big Mistake new business owners often make is they “try” to operate their business on their own, without a coach or mentor and worse – without a Team of advisors.

Whatever their reason; the “loners” typically take one of two paths….they quit and become one of those people that say; “Those things don’t work” OR they discover that business works better, is easier, more fun and more lucrative when they use a Team approach as well as the willingness to Serve present in the successful coaches and mentors that have blazed the trail ahead of them.

The bottomline; We’re never alone in life or business.
