The Morning After

Wow what a month! Take a Deep Breath, let it out!

Whether you achieved your goals for April – or exceeded them – or not – here’s what you want to do today; Write your objectives and your daily schedule for May – Today! And pull up your “Big Girl Panties” and treat your business like the multimillion dollar international anti-aging business that it is! Stop procrastinating. Make the time. Get over “it”, Get thru “it” and Get to “it”!! Get with your coaches and mentors Today! Be Grateful that “Your past does not equal your future”.

BEGIN WITH THE END IN MIND
You’ve just been asked to put together a jigsaw puzzle. Having done many such puzzles, you’re excited to get started. You pour out all 1,000 pieces, spreading them out across a large table. You then pick up the lid of the box and look at what you’re putting together. But there’s no picture! It’s blank! How will you ever be able to finish the puzzle without knowing what it looks like, you wonder? If you only had a one-second glimpse of what it’s supposed to be. That’s all you need one picture of the finished product. What a difference it would make! Without it, putting together the puzzle will take a really long long time……and so it is with your business, career and Life!

Now consider your Life and your 1000 pieces. What is the clear picture of who you want to BE as you build your business? Who is in the picture with you? What are you Doing?

Here’s what I’ve learned about goals and goal setting from my 25+ years of studying success and succesful people;

1. You MUST acknowledge where you’re starting from and just because you haven’t done something before…doesn’t mean you can’t learn to do it now and/or in the near future.

2. Your goals MUST be bigger than you..especially to the point of scaring you. Example; “We’re a Global Team of Extraordinary individuals Dedicated to Loving, Learning and Connecting with Grace and Abundance

3. They MUST be Specific. Example; if your goal is a new car…What year, make, model, color, features etc. Fluffy language like I want “more money”, “more time”, “more love”…gives your brain zero info and gets you less of those things.

4. You MUST attach a time frame. Goals are simply Dreams with a deadline. no deadline = no urgency = no have.

5. You MUST never ask “How”…only “WHY”. The how will be provided on the path of your journey.

6. You MUST attach a big, detailed, emotionally significant “WHY” to each of your goals. Example,

If your goal is $5000. a month….that’s great…but you don’t want that because you want 5000 pictures of George Washington for your bathroom wall…..there’s a “WHY” behind that…what will achieving that allow you to Be, Do and Have? A Great way to focus your “WHY” is to ask yourSelf how achieving any particular goal will benefit others.

Please understand that your mind thinks in pictures and for the most part – in a linear manner. It can only plan according to what it understands currently. Start with setting a daily schedule for building your business. It takes a minimum of 1-2 hours per day of focused effort to get your business going. Next – add “activity” goals – how many people are you going to speak with each day, what time slots are you blocking off for listening to training calls or recordings? What time of each day are you scheduled to visit with your coach? Because activity leads to production.

Notice that all of the above are activities you have complete control of. This way your mind masters what to do and how to do the things that create the production goals that lead to the money and things you desire. Your mind has to see things that are attainable, and how to do them then your mind can become more excited because it can see that it is doable and once it ís doable it becomes believable and once youíve installed new beliefs about who you are and what you’re capable of then who you get to BE, DO and HAVE expands exponentially.

So now grab a pen..start writin!…put your picture on paper…and over the next year watch your miracles come together….with Grace and Abundance.

We live in a time of unprecedented opportunity for those who choose to unleash their imagination and rise above the CNN (Constantly Negative News). Tough times demand, foster, and nourish innovation. Economic well being follows a collective response, never precedes it.

Power is organized effort.

WAY more powerful than the internet

The Internet connects everyone on this planet instantaneously. Tools like Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube, LinkedIn and many many more are used to connect, reconnect, and to share activities, events, gossip, news, things wanted or unwanted, marketing messages, job postings and much much more.

Yet there exists one device more powerful than all of that – the phone.

There are an estimated 7.8 billion devices on the planet and over one trillion phone calls per year, just in the US! People spend more time with their phones than any other device and use that device to connect to the Internet and all social mediums, 65% of adults even sleep with their cell phones next to the bed.

The phone is still more powerful than any and all of these other technologies. No matter how we use the above tools – there comes a point in everyone’s career/day where you will have to pick up the phone to reach the right person, get an appointment, present your product, and close a sale.

The phone is money and everyone has one, learn to monetize it by contacting, connecting, and contracting because it’s FUN

Push vs Pull

If you are working on something exciting that you really care about, you don’t have to be pushed. The vision pulls you.

It’s just Golf, Right?

OK Folks – when I go to the golf course squirrels put on hard hats. There are many reasons golf is the most often played sport by 90 percent of Fortune 500 CEOs. Those same reasons apply to our business as well. Here’s a few;

The Golf Course as a Meeting Room During a round of golf, most players are enjoying themselves. When someone is looking to buy a product, they have plenty of places and people to buy it from. So who will make the sale? The person who helps them create feelings – specifically, good feelings. When someone feels good around you, that person is more likely to buy what you are offering.

Golf Reveals a Person’s Character A golfer who remains steady through good shots and bad shots often indicates how he or she behaves in business. Human beings are attracted to consistency and persistence. Be attractive in this way.

Golf Requires Strategy. And if I live long enough I might learn it.

Golfers Are Equal to Each Other Golf allows people with different skill levels to play together on an equitable level as a result of the USGA handicapping system. Every human being is an expert in something. Respect that, and the people around you will feel your equal.

Golfers welcome adversity. Dealing with challenges, strategically and avoiding hazards to progress and achieve their next best shot. Golfers realize and accept that adversity and hazards are “on the way” vs “in the way.”

Or maybe it’s all “just golf” Right?
