Pick up a handful of water

Have you ever tried to pick up a handful of water?

No matter how hard you try to hang on to it – it just sifts through your fingers until only a few drops are left.

Your goals and dreams, happen the same way the water does… The tighter you clutch at them and the more anxious you get about the outcome..the more they just slip away. We often see good people spending far too much time worrying and feeling guilty about wanting or desiring something, and the more they do so, the more elusive it becomes.

Successful people focus on the foundation of their desires and goals – gratitude, happiness, well-being, and peace of mind – and what you will DO with the prosperity in your life. Only then something incredible happens – you start attracting what you desire to you, effortlessly.

Sometimes this is referred to a being in the zone, the flow. Athletes, artists, and writers know this place intimately. And since we deal with people everyday, in everyway, we’re also athletes, artists and authors of our destiny.

BE creative today.

Good Morning Team – An economist discussing the spiritual nature of business?

Paul Zane Pilzer – advisor to 2 US presidents, graduated college + MBA by age 22, made first million by age 26, first 10 million by age 30

Business is about serving other people. The better you are at giving people something that improves their lives, the more successful you are, the more money you are rewarded.”

People who create wealth by owning and building their own business love other people

From book “Firms of Endearment” by economist Raj Sisodia; What is Conscious Capitalism?

Conscious Capitalism is defined by four characteristics. First is a higher purpose. There needs to be some other reason why you exist, in addition to make money. Second is aligning all the stakeholders around that sense of higher purpose and recognizing that their interests are all connected to each other. The third element is conscious leadership, which is driven primarily by purpose and by service to people. And the fourth is a conscious culture, which really embodies all of these elements: trust, caring, compassion, and authenticity.

Do these comments resonate with you? If so, are you working with a company that truly reflects the same principles and values?

Or is it time to start your own?

Your 5 Closest Friends

Researchers have demonstrated that your income is the average of your 5 closest friends.

Hundred-aires hang out with other hundred-aires,
Thousand-aires hang out with other thousand-aires,
Millionaires hang out with other Millionaires, and so forth.

There are many reasons for this phenomenon and most are obvious, example; some fun things take more money to do than other fun things; and exclusive clubs are just that – exclusive.

And every so often opportunities present themselves whereby one can rub elbows with those one or two levels above, and listen to the words they use, pay attention to the things they focus on, and most importantly capture the things those people DO – that you also could DO – that could move your income up one or two levels.

In the franchise and network marketing industry these events are called conferences or conventions. On a smaller scale many companies have monthly or weekly trainings or meetings. And on an even smaller scale smart business people form their own “mastermind” groups. (Per the Napoleon Hill defintion of “MasterMind”).

I’ve spent thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars and hours at such events. Today – Every time I feel “stuck” in my business or personal growth I’ll seek and attend an event because the experience of BEing there will always produce some level of learning that will move me forward. BEing present works incredibly powerfully whereas books, CD’s, and DVD’s seem to only provide limited insight.

Bottomline; If you’re not happy with your current income level, consider making new friends at an event near you.
