Whine = “But I’m not a salesperson”

excerpt from Kiyosaki’s latest book; “Conspiracy of the Rich”

“This is one reason why Donald Trump and I recommend you start a Network Marketing business.  If you are serious about becoming an entrepreneur, I suggest investing a few years, part time, in learning the skills of selling from a network marketing business.  The Training you receive, especially the skill of overcoming your fear of rejection is priceless”.

In today’s world..their is no more valuable asset than your skill sets.

Whether you’re marketing yourSelf to your boss….selling him/her on why they should keep, pay or promote you….or whether you’re promoting your own business or product….there is nothing more important than learning how to sell.  We’re all salespeople and we’re always selling something every minute of everyday….and if you’re saying “yes but” or “No I”m not” or “you’re wrong…”.or “YES I AM”..then whatever follows is your sales pitch to yourSelf.

If you’re married or in a relationship you’re selling someone on why they should stay with you…if you’re a parent you’re in sales all day everyday…bath time, bed time, dinner time, school time, clean your room etc etc etc etc.

So, In today’s world..your most valuable asset is your skill set, especially in relation to your ability to everyday sales.

More complex than electricity – tithing

No clue how it works….just know that it does. Tithing is a practical application of Faith.

Tithing is a great way to Make a Difference.   Go behind the scenes of most great fortunes, you’ll find a common pattern—the more they gave, the more they got.  Conversely, show me a person having a difficult time financially and it is very likely they’re not tithing.

Giving literally magnifies, multiplies, and exponentializes money.  And, the tighter you squeeze your money, the more compact it becomes. Dickens’s mythical figure Scrooge vividly demonstrates the consequence of being tightfisted, stingy, hard, and parsimonious with one’s money.

Many people in poverty consciousness mistakenly think that money shrinks when you give it away. They think (100% – 10% = 90%).  The Truth is; giving money actually produces more money.  Tithing is a money multiplier.

When you give without the expectation of receiving – knowing that you will – then and and only then your money returns to you 10 fold or more.  And the giving must be a percentage of your income….putting 2, 10 or 20 bucks in the collection plate Easter sunday is NOT tithing and does not produce the larger rewards that tithing does.

When I started doing this – I mistakenly thought “I can’t afford to tithe” and “If I tithe I won’t be able to pay my bills”  BIG MISTAKE!  When I started to tithe is when my financial situation began to improve….later when I was making a lot of money I “tested” the law and stopped tithing….when I stopped tithing my income shrunk immediately.

Start at whatever level you are at…just start…and the miracles of tithing will come.  Tithing is a practical application of faith.

Which comes first – chicken or egg?

Do wealthy people give more money to charity because they are rich?
Or
Do people become rich because they give generously to charity?

Your answer will give you insights to your beliefs about money…..some of those beliefs may be assisting you in getting to your goals and some not.

Your coach may be able to offer some guidance in this area.   And if you’re shy about your money issues then “get over it” and find a mentor or coach that has already accomplished what you’re seeking to do and ask them to assist you.

I Hope > I Believe > I Know

A journey we’ve made many many times in our lives and one our clients are on when they come to us.

Example:  As a child you hoped you would be a grown up, in your 20’s you believed it was possible and now as an adult you know – you did or did not.  Or, I hope he/she loves me > I believe they love me > I Know he/she loves me.

The journey is going from a level of uncertainty > I hope > to a level of security > I believe > to a level of understanding > I Know.

Our clients come to us from anywhere on the spectrum depending upon a bazillion factors relating to their lives.

I Hope this business works.
I Believe this business works
I Know this business works.

As coaches our role is “travel guide”…we can only show them what successful people think, feel, believe and DO.  We can’t make anybody think, feel, believe or DO anything…..think “Wizard of OZ”, Tin man, leading a horse to water.

And finally, our other role is that of “teacher”…the best teachers are the ones that have learned from experience….and as teachers we teach the students that “show up” for class….engaging them from where they’re at and leading them forward on the journey.

I know this is true.

He was on FIRE with…

Every great achievement is the victory of a flaming heart”

                                –Ralph Waldo Emerson

Yesterday my daughter’s pastor was literally on fire with Passion, Gratitude, and Wonder.  I’ve been attending her church once a month for the past 8 years and this was the most alive I have ever heard this man.  Here’s why:

He shared a story that was 99% identical to events that occurred with our Team, in relation to the Tsunami in Asia several years ago.  I had goosebumps.  The gist:

Six months ago their church purchased 20 acres on the coast of Haiti and opened an orphanage.  One of the families from the church…people our daughter babysat for ….sold their belongings and moved to Haiti to run the orphanage.   People from the church donated a satellite phone so they could keep in touch with family in US…and food.. and medical supplies.. and a generator… and children’s clothes.. and a 4 wheel drive pickup and more.  So when the earthquake hit they were able to be first on the scene to offer aid.  And within hours of of them communicating back home – a phone tree started and because they operate outside of government – they were able to arrange for 7 planes to be donated, 7 volunteer pilots, 10’s of thousands of pounds of food medical supplies, clothing and temporary buildings to be flown in…to a private airstrip…and the Canadian govt….someone on their phone tree….offered to build a permanent hospital and water filtration plant on their land.

He then went on to provide answers to the questions some people are asking; Did God do this?  Is our God a vengeful God or a Loving God?  Why do bad things happen to good people?  His answer;  He doesn’t know Why.  We may never know why.  What matters is what we DO about it, and what we DO about the injustices we witness.  He ended with a quote from a dear friend of mine – W. Mitchell.  (wmitchell.com).

“It’s NEVER what happens to you – it’s ALWAYS What you DO about it”
