Life is a series of Magical Moments

This weekend I had the most bizarre series of experiences that renewed my Faith in a big way. I was reminded multiple times that there is a Spark, a Light, a Love, a Source within us that is connected to something bigger than all of us combined.

This fragment of divinity doesn’t age or die. 20, 50, 80 doesn’t matter because you and I have an immortal purpose and a dream that seeks fulfillment. (Remember last weeks piece on Diana Nyad). We all know exacty what “it” is and a few minutes with a piece of paper and a pen – or a few “happy accidents” with “strangers” can bring it to the surface in a hearbeat.

Side note: “Strangers” are merely people we don’t know that we know – until we do. After this weekend I am of the opinion that physically we’re all connected by Less than 6 degrees of separation. On another level – metaphysical, Spiritual, ethereal, Source, Light – we’re all connected to each other in a way that defies standard earthly explanations.

As for “Happy accidents”, some call them serendipity, coincidence, luck, fate, magical moments, etc….these are merely reminders that in this world you and I are necessary and intricate spokes in a very big wheel.

So for some, your business might be about selling a widget and making a buck and that’s OK because that still helps make the wheel go round. For those that are open to seeing, feeling on another level then a widget becomes something bigger than all of us combined.

As you move through your day – look for the Spark, Light, Love, Divinity in others. Acknowledge it, Salute it and maybe wonder how you might serve the greater good with a kind word, a gesture, your products, or another stream of income.

Ultimately, Being of service to eachother is one of the most rewarding and life-affirming activities we can do.

Peace.

Who is Diana Nyad ?

In today’s health news I was moved by a piece on Diana Nyad.

There is nothing more powerful than a human being with a burning desire!

In the summer of 1978, she attempted the 103-mile journey from Cuba to Key West, Florida. After 41 hours and 49 minutes in the water, Nyad’s handlers gave her the bad news: Because of high waves and strong currents, she was so far off course that completing the swim would be impossible.

Whether the handlers were dreamstealers or smart coaches? – only Diana knows for sure.

The following year, she completed what still remains the longest swim in history without a shark cage — 102.5 miles from Bimini in the Bahamas to Jupiter, Florida.That day was her 30th birthday, and the last day of her swimming career. “I was so burned out. You couldn’t pay me to take one more stroke,” Nyad said. “For 30 years, I did not swim a single stroke anywhere at any time, except in the ocean, paddling on a board.”

But swimming from Bimini to Florida wasn’t her dream. That swim – even though a record that still stands – wasn’t the “it” she was striving for. For Diana that was “settling.” And 30 years later on her 60th birthday;

“I was having an existential crisis about being 60,” she said. “I told myself, ‘You have to get real with life’s lessons, one of which is you can’t go back.’ ”

In what she now realizes was an ironic moment, Nyad says she looked into the rearview mirror in her car and decided; “I realized there was one thing I could go back for, and that’s the dream swim from Cuba to Key West.”

Tony Robbins often says;
It’s in your moments of decision that your Destiny is created

Right here, right now this very moment you could make a decision to Go for it, to Be, DO, and Have your dream. Inside you there is that one thing you yearn for, ache for, go back to in your mind over and over.

Only you know what “It” is for you. Only you know if you’re “settling” for something less.

When would now be the very best time in your life to Make a Decision, Take Massive Action and change your physiology, outcome and legacy?

Ignore the “they says” or perish

How to get your Big Idea into the Real World

I believe there are many people who have ideas, sit on them, listen to the “they says” and then later see their idea on a shelf in a store.

This is one of the best articles I’ve read on how to get YOUR big idea into the real world.

As always the formula for getting it done = See it > BE it > DO it > Have it !!
