Good Morning – a pretty cool article for ya’lllll to check out regarding running a business from home.

Before you go over there and read it consider these two things missing from the article.
1. Working from home is extremely rewarding for the business owner and has long term benefits for the children and family.
2. “Blurring of boundaries” is listed as a “pitfall” when in reality it is a misperception. Our 9-5 friends think their life is “in balance” because they work from 9-5, go to bible study on Wednesday night, go to movie with family on Friday nights, do chores around the house Saturday morning, go out to dinner as a couple on Saturday, go to church on Sunday and get a knot in their stomcah on Sunday afternoon about commuting in traffic monday morning to a job they may or may not find rewarding on a personal level. To them that’s living a “balanced” life and they look at my wife and I as people who are “always working”.
When you’ve chosen your “work” and you’re doing something you absolutely love and you see clearly how it fits into your life’s purpose, how you’re showing your children and your community that there is a different way to live and earn income….then it’s really not “work”….it’s more a labor of love. For example; a real estate agent….someoone who loves solving problems, finding a “home” or an investment – will often work weekends, or in the evening because that’s when the 9-5 er’s can get out and pursue their dreams….same situation exists for those with home based businesses they too will often find themselves working at “off times” because that’s when the 9-5 er’s are avaialble….they also might find themselves talking about real estate during a birthday party or other socail event because they’re talking about what they love to do. This doesn’t mean they’re “always working” or that their physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual lives are “out of balance”.
All it means is that they’ve chosen to balance their life in a different way…and they chose to;
