Good Morning Team – I had the privilege of stumbling upon and attending two 09/11 memorial services in two separate very small towns this weekend…one in VA and one in NC…population about 1000 for each town and it seemed like all attended…young, old, tall, skinny. black, white etc…
I had the opportunity to share with my now 16YO what happened on that date, where I was, what I was doing and what I thought it meant to our nation.
My overall sense at both events is summed up by this author;
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion into clarity. It turns problems into gifts, failures into success, the unexpected into perfect timing, and mistakes into important events. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
Additionally, I am grateful we live in the greatest country in the world, that many have given their lives to defend the principles we were founded upon. And I am grateful we are free to grow, learn and pursue opportunity of all kinds.
What are you grateful for today?
